Hi. I’m Miss Sheffield and I very fortunate to lead Art and Design at Wargrave.
Our curriculum starts all the way down in our Early Years with I am an artist, allowing out littlest learners to be expressive and creative. As children progress, we equip them with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, crafts and design through a range of media.
Art and Design allows us to create a nurturing environment for all children to express themselves and experience numerous awe and wonder moments as it opens them up to beauty and creativity that is all around us. It also allows children to be reflective and appreciative of artwork that has shaped history and see how it can contribute to the future and creativity of the world.
Our aim is for our children to inspire others as great artist before them have inspired them.
